What is Purple Haven?
Purple Haven is an Independent Living Program that provides safe, structured housing and supportive services for individuals transitioning back into the community and working toward long-term stability and independence.
Who is eligible to apply?
Purple Haven serves justice-impacted individuals and others who are rebuilding their lives and in need of stable housing. Applicants must be 18 years or older, able to live independently, and willing to participate in program expectations.
Is Purple Haven an emergency shelter?
No. Purple Haven is not an emergency shelter. It is a transitional independent living program designed for individuals who are ready to commit to structure, accountability, and personal growth.
What type of housing is provided?

Is the program drug and alcohol free?

How long can someone stay at Purple Haven?
Length of stay varies based on individual needs, progress, and program availability. Purple Haven is designed as temporary, transitional housing, not permanent residency.
How does the waitlist work?
Due to high demand, interested individuals are placed on a waitlist. Completing the waitlist form does not guarantee placement but allows Purple Haven to contact applicants as space becomes available.
Does being on probation or parole disqualify someone?
No. Individuals on probation or parole may still be eligible, as long as they can comply with program rules and any court-ordered conditions.
