Welcome to Purple Haven

Welcome to Purple Haven. I’m truly honored that you are considering joining our Independent Living Program. Purple Haven was created from my deep passion to provide safe, structured transitional housing for individuals who deserve a second chance and a real opportunity to start again. I understand that reentering the community can be challenging, and my goal is to offer more than just housing—I want to provide stability, support, and a place where growth and healing can begin.

I believe wholeheartedly that your past does not define your future. At Purple Haven, I am committed to creating a safe, respectful environment where individuals can reset, rebuild, and move forward with dignity and purpose. If you are ready to take the next step toward independence and positive change, I would be honored to support you on that journey.

Her Story

Myra Stewart is a multi-disciplinary leader, entrepreneur, and educator whose work is centered on building pathways of opportunity through business, the arts, faith, and community development. Her leadership is driven by a deep belief that transformation begins when individuals are given access—access to education, access to healing, access to stability, and access to hope.

She leads several impact-driven organizations, including Blue Reign Music Group, Blue Reign Foundation, Exceptional In-Home Care Providers, Purple Haven Safe House, and The Pink Couch Chronicles Podcast. While each initiative serves a distinct purpose, they are united by a shared mission to empower individuals, strengthen families, and uplift communities through intentional, service-centered leadership.

Myra’s journey has taken her into creative spaces, classrooms, neighborhoods, and correctional facilities, where she teaches music business, mentors justice-impacted individuals, and advocates for underserved communities. Through innovative programs, educational instruction, and community-based services, she equips people with the tools, confidence, and structure needed to rebuild their lives and pursue lasting change.

Purple Haven was born from her firsthand understanding that safe and stable housing is foundational to successful reentry and long-term independence. The program exists not only to provide housing, but to serve as a bridge toward healing, accountability, and new beginnings for those seeking a second chance.

Guided by faith and a commitment to service, Myra believes that no past defines a person’s future. Her work continues to create spaces where individuals can rise, rebuild, and realize their greatest potential.
